Really thought that this wasn't going to happen. Typical that On the day I started I came down with some sort of "Lurgy". Today I thought the lurgy had beat me, but copious amount of tea, and a nice warm fire revived me. So here it is Sheep Painting a Day 3, April 3rd 2013, "Grazing Sheep"......

I love my old Palettes
Today was time to change my palette, the paint had dried up and was stopping the moisture underneath from keeping the acrylic paint workable. I love my old palettes and save them to incorporate into some of my bigger paintings.

A brand new start.
Well... I made what may have been a rash decision and decided that as the last post on this Blog was 2007, I would put the lot on ice and start again. Since deserting my blog I have not been unproductive. I have taken on a studio in an old mill in Stockport, where I have been for the last few years. Because the space was much larger than what I had been used to I grew .......or rather my paintings did. I love having the space to work on larger paintings.......BUT.....in the winter it is soooooo cold and I missed making the little miniature art cards, that I used to make. So, recently I have set up a mini studio (a folding table), in my cosy floating home. I light my stove and sit in the warm, painting tiny 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch paintings. I haven't deserted my lovely studio, and will be back there as soon as the weather improves, but I don't think I will stop painting these addictive tiny paintings this time. I will keep my fold up table handy.
I bought some gorgeous little easels to display my ACEO's......
A few days ago I was featured on customer spotlight of the day by one of my suppliers.... http://www.photopaperdirect.com/blog/?p=944customer
Still excited and trying to think if there is anyone I haven't told yet!
