I've been having a go at painting some frames to go with my mini paintings. This is the first one I had a go at. I'm quite pleased with the result! I've used it to frame a Faery Cat painting.

Some Close ups of the Derbyshire "Gritstone" painting.
This is the painting I exhibited in the Derbyshire Open Exhibition last month. The detail is a bit lost in this small picture, as the original is approx. 48" across.
I won't be selling this online, but wanted to share it, as it won 2nd prize in the Hayfield Pro-Loco. It was painted a couple of months ago, but I've only just got round to photographing it.
I sat in the centre of the village with my eight year old son. and we both painted our competition pieces.....it was a lovely day, and it was a wonder either of us got any painting done, as we spent most of the time chatting to passers by.....I only just got mine done in the allotted time! Jonny managed two, one of which won third in his age group. It's in a frame at the moment so I haven't managed to photograh it.......I'll try and get an image on here sometime, as we are all really proud of him.
